Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient - $2,270 per week

Travel Physical Therapist position in Sacramento, California. This outpatient role involves working with patients diagnosed with orthopedic, total joint, vestibular, neuro, and balance difficulties. The position requires providing care within a diverse clinical setting and collaborating with the healthcare team to support patient recovery and mobility.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch required)
• 8-hour shifts, starting at 8:00 AM
• 40 hours per week
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• Clinic closed on major holidays; half-day closings on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Facility may cancel up to four shifts within the 13-week assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy for patients with orthopedic, total joint, vestibular, neuro, and balance difficulties
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient recovery and mobility
• Charting managed via Cerner
• Floor-specific orientation provided over 1-2 days
• Professional attire required (no specific uniform color mandated)

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy (PT) license
• BLS Certification
• No minimum experience required, but 2 years is recommended
• Two professional references: one within the last 12 months and one within the last 3 years
• Copy of valid government-issued ID required at submission
• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any organization associated with the specific healthcare network within the past year

• 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy or related acute care settings

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
