About the role

This is a 13-week assignment with a day shift schedule of 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (08:00 - 16:30). The position starts on 09/14/2026, with 1 opening available. Charting will be done using Epic.

Responsibilities & Skills

• Assistive and adaptive devices
• Orthopedics, including ankle sprains, knee injuries/tendinopathy, hip fractures/injuries
• AROM/AAROM/PROM, assessment, and strength testing
• Body mechanics and gait training (including use of gait belt, crutches, rolling walker)
• Conditions: Cervicalgia, degenerative disc/joint disease (DDD/DJD), osteoarthritis, sciatica, spinal conditions, low back pain
• Post-operative care: Cervical surgery, shoulder repair, spinal surgery, total hip/knee replacement
• Modalities: Cryotherapy, moist heat, ultrasound, traction table
• Pain assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Patient and family education, home exercise programs
• Plan of care, short/long-term goals, reassessments, discharge planning
• Safety and injury prevention, skin integrity
• Shoulder slings
• Geriatrics
• Insurance: Medicaid, Medicare B, Workers Compensation

Requirements

• New graduates are welcome to apply
• BLS certification required
• Travel experience required
• Facility type: Critical Access (4-bed count)
• Charting experience required

Pay

$2,498 to $2,691 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements).

Schedule

5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30).
