Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab - $2,566 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Inpatient Rehab travel position in Glendive, Montana. This 13-week assignment starts on October 2, 2026, with a 40-hour workweek on a day shift schedule (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday). The role involves working in an acute care hospital setting with an attached 71-bed skilled Extended Care facility, serving as a Level IV trauma center with 25 total staffed beds. You will work across both inpatient and outpatient settings with a patient ratio of 1:6.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment across orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, and geriatric patient populations.
• Perform evaluations, reassessments, and documentation including long and short-term goals and plans of care.
• Utilize various modalities such as E-stim, ultrasound, TENS, hydrotherapy, and traction.
• Work with equipment including crutches, walkers, gait belts, sliding boards, and sit-to-stand lifts.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required.
• Use Cerner charting system in the hospital and PCC in the long-term care setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• State license required if applicable; compact license accepted.
• Prior travel experience required.
• Cerner charting experience required.
• Pending license not accepted.
• First-time travelers not accepted for this position.
• No RTO permitted within the first two weeks due to orientation; RTO limited to one week for the remainder of the assignment.

Schedule
