Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab - $2,006 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in an inpatient rehabilitation unit in Richmond, Virginia. This role requires inpatient rehab (Care Tool) experience and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.

• 40 hours per week, day shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends)

Facility Details

• 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Patient population includes neuro, orthopedic, TBI, and SCI cases
• Utilizes e-stim and other therapeutic modalities
• Meditech Magic/Expanse for documentation
• Features portable and in-room lifts, Bioness equipment, and FES technology
• Stroke-certified facility with UDS quality certification
• Supportive therapy team with stroke committee, pet therapy, and interactive medical programs
• Frequent team celebrations and food events
• Unit-specific orientation provided
• Gray scrubs required as part of dress code

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
• Inpatient rehab experience, including Care Tool training
• OTR/L certification required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• State license required if applicable
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined).
