Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient & Outpatient - $2,775 per week

About the role

The Travel Physical Therapist will provide care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. The primary focus will be on reducing pain and improving or restoring mobility for patients. The therapist will develop personalized treatment plans, evaluate patient progress, and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions to enhance function and promote long-term health benefits.

Responsibilities

• Congduct patient evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
• Educate patients on how to manage their conditions and promote overall health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Current state licensure in New Mexico (or pending licensure must be included with submission).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Fingerprinting required for all travelers in New Mexico.

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

The schedule is Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM; work at the hospital one Saturday per month.
