Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week inpatient rehabilitation assignment, with preferred experience in neurological diagnoses.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- Experience with neurological diagnoses strongly preferred
- Active PT license required if applicable
- BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
- Driver's license required for consideration
- A skills checklist and copies of certifications are required for consideration
About the Role
Details
- 30-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
- Patients primarily present with neurological conditions including stroke, brain injury, multi-trauma, and post-spine surgery
- Typically assigned 4–6 patients per day with an expectation of billing 24 units per day
- Uses Cerner/OneChart EMR
- Monday–Friday schedule with rotating weekends
- Shift hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
