Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation - $2,300 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Rehabilitation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Kealakekua, Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients for medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions.
• Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined by the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the physician.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record patient conditions, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Absess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
• Graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT.
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.
