Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient - $2,726 per week

American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The position is a 24‑week, 5×8‑hour day shift (40 hours per week) role beginning November 3, 2026, covering a leave of absence in an inpatient setting that includes the CCU, Acute Care, and Day Surgery units.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and developing treatment plans to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and function.
• Educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current Colorado PT license (DORA) or compact license required, if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required (3–5 years preferred).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Flu vaccination required with no declinations accepted (applicable October 1 through April 1).
• CAPS registration required (may take up to two weeks to obtain).
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
