Travel Physical Therapist Inpatient - $2,350 per week

About the Role

The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Inpatient for a day shift position at a healthcare facility located in Yuma, Arizona. This role involves providing acute inpatient care in areas such as Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical units. The position requires a licensed physical therapist with experience understanding pathology, laboratory values, and interdisciplinary communication to effectively manage a caseload of 8-10 patients daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute inpatient physical therapy in Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical units.
• Manage a caseload of 8-10 patients per day.
• Understand and apply knowledge of pathology and laboratory values in patient care.
• Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) license (active and in hand).
• BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience outside of clinicals.
• Understanding of pathology, lab values, and interdisciplinary communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with total joints, cerebrovascular accidents, congestive heart failure, COPD, and sepsis.
• Familiarity with acute inpatient settings including emergency department and medical-surgical units.

Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Flexible weekend coverage (2-3 days/month).
• No self-scheduling; holiday rotations apply.
• Start Date: 10/05/2026 (fixed, no flexibility).
• Duration: 13 weeks.

Unit notes specify start date and caseload details. The client may cancel hours equivalent to weekly guaranteed hours for the duration of the assignment as per cancellation policy. No more than 5 days of planned time off (RTO). Location is within a 100-mile radius.
