This position offers a dynamic outpatient and inpatient therapy environment, primarily hospital-based outpatient physical therapy with opportunities to work in inpatient rehabilitation units. The role involves implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating closely with the physical therapy team to ensure quality care. Job Details Required Qualifications: PT State License; BLS Certification; Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience or inpatient experience; Location in New Mexico; Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with total joints, back/shoulder/foot pain, neuro patients (such as TBI, stroke, Parkinson's); Ability to work in acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings. Responsibilities: Implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, report progress to physical therapists, guide patients through functional exercises and equipment use, document patient progress, and maintain communication with the physical therapist and patients. Certifications: BLS Certification required. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a closed lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Additional Information: Clinicians are expected to complete departmental modules prior to initial floor work, with billing eligibility for module work up to six hours. Flexibility to cover inpatient units and participate in holiday rotations may be required.
