Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient - $1,625 per week

About the role

The organization is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with outpatient specialty experience to join a skilled nursing and acute care setting. The position involves providing physical therapy services across various units, including outpatient and inpatient care, within a hospital environment. The role focuses on patient rehabilitation and recovery, supporting the hospital's multidisciplinary team. Position: Physical Therapist, Inpatient Specialty. Location: On-site at a healthcare facility within a hospital campus specializing in orthopedic and acute care in Charleston, West Virginia. Start date: October 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Delivering physical therapy services to patients in various units including Skilled Nursing Units (SNU) and acute care.
• Covering all floors of the hospital as required.
• Participating in department-specific orientation and adhering to clinical protocols.
• Collaborating with the therapy team and healthcare professionals.
• Providing care predominantly in the Skilled Nursing Unit with possible acute care duties in the joint connection unit.
• Wearing scrubs in royal blue.
• Using the MEDITECH charting system.

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or ARC)
• At least 1 year of outpatient or inpatient physical therapy experience

Qualifications

• Experience working in skilled nursing units, acute rehabilitation, outpatient settings, or similar clinical environments (preferred)

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8‑hour shifts (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM), minimum 40 hours per week.
