Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, evaluating medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction.
• Set realistic, achievable goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and passed the NPT exam.
• Graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year of experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (or in process of obtaining).
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements as determined by the client facility.

Pay

• Weekly pay (gross estimate includes hourly wages and reimbursements for meals, incidentals, and housing).
• Pay package based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
