About the role

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a contract position in Newton, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a PT setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in a hospital or outpatient setting.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessment.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a PT setting.
  • Valid MA License.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice and current standards of care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR).
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
