Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health - $2,707 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment in Southern Oregon, requiring 1+ year of skilled home health experience and OASIS proficiency. The assignment covers Medford, OR and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 patient care in a home health setting
• Visit up to 6 patients per day
• Maintain a 30 productivity point standard
• Perform charting using Home Care Home Base/OASIS
• Adhere to day shift schedule (8‑hour shifts, 5 days per week)
• No weekend, on‑call, or floating requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience
• Current BLS certification
• OASIS experience
• Valid Physical Therapist license (if applicable)
• Reliable personal transportation for home visits
• Primary series COVID‑19 vaccination plus one booster
• First‑time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Local candidates accepted within a 50‑75 mile radius at the same pay rate

Schedule

• Day shift, 8‑hour shifts
• 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Assignment length: 13 weeks
• Scheduling system groups clients to minimize drive time, with occasional travel radius of 50+ miles
• Facility may cancel up to one shift per two‑week pay period
