Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health - $2,541 per week

About the role

The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services to home-health clients. Primary functions include direct patient care, collaboration with other team members, and participation in developing the patient’s comprehensive plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient needs and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing and monitoring therapy interventions.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families.
• Using rehabilitation equipment including splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and additional ADL equipment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of acute nursing care and home care experience.
• Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist License.
• Certification in Home Health required.
• Proficiency with OASIS is non-negotiable.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.

Schedule

• 8-hour days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), 40-hour guarantee.
• Rotating weekends and holiday coverage as needed.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
