Position Overview
Are you an experienced Physical Therapist looking for your next travel opportunity in Arizona? Join the team at Oro Valley Hospital and make a meaningful impact by helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, regain function, and improve their overall quality of life. As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions designed to promote safe movement, recovery, and long-term independence.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and function.
- Help patients reduce pain and regain independence in daily activities.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility, and strategies for continued recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Float to Acute Care as needed.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 40 hours/week
- Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends
- Weekend scheduling may be Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, based on facility needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) License
- BLS Certification
- Cerner EMR experience – Required
- Recent experience in: Inpatient Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing (SNU), and Acute Care
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
