About the role

A great Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care (SNF / LTC) is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their team. This is a 13-week contract position with a days schedule, 40 hours per week, and 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for incorporating the organization’s vision, values, mission, and critical goals into job performance.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
• Implement and modify the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
• Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients' goals.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or proactively in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
