Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - $1,816 per week

About the role

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, located in Wichita, Kansas. The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
• Administer treatments as directed by a licensed physical therapist
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledgeable about physical therapy techniques and equipment

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
