Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - $1,703 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing Treatment Plans
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
• Aid in patient recovery using physical therapy equipment
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress
• Provide patient education on proper body mechanics and techniques
• Educate patients on exercises, stretches, and home care strategies
• Teach patients how to use assistive devices and ensure safe usage
• Offer emotional support to patients
• Document patient interactions and progress
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans
• Maintain therapy equipment and ensure facility cleanliness
• Assist in evaluations and initial assessments
• Ensure a safe environment for patients and coworkers

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Experience in physical therapy settings
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of patient documentation and record keeping

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
