Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Ortho - $1,385 per week

About the role

Make a real difference as a travel PTA with Jackson Therapy Partners! You’ll work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. The position is located in Torrington, Wyoming, offering access to outdoor recreation and regional landmarks such as Guernsey State Park (≈35 miles) and Scotts Bluff National Monument (≈55 miles). The city sits along the North Platte River, providing a quiet small‑town setting with road access to Casper (~2 hours) and Cheyenne (~2.5 hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy assistance under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help patients recover from injuries or illness, improving mobility, function, and activity levels.
• Manage a patient volume of 8‑14 patients per day.
• Utilize Web PT documentation system for charting and reporting.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active state license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification may be required (AHA or ARC).

Qualifications

• Orthopedic experience required.
• Experience with Web PT documentation system.
• Ability to handle 8‑14 patients per day in an outpatient setting.
