Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient - $1,645 per week

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in conducting therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening exercises, balance exercises, joint mobility, pain relief, functional skills training, and community re-entry training.
• Train patients in gait and locomotion using assistive devices and demonstrate proper use of modalities like whirlpools, ultrasound, and therapeutic pools.
• Document patient progress, educate patients and families, and ensure adherence to safety and infection control policies.
• Embraces safety guidelines, exhibits professionalism, maintains a clean and safe treatment environment, and participates in team conferences and quality improvement projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School, CAPTE Certified, CPR Certification, active license for the state where work will be performed.
• 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience.

Schedule

Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
