About the role
GrapeTree Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy tasks under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities of daily living.
- Help maintain patient records and report progress to supervising therapists.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions.
Requirements
- BLS certification, AHA preferred.
- Current, valid certifications.
- Currently listed registry in state of practice.
- Minimum 1-2 years of direct care experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
- Pass a background check.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
