Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - Long Term Care - $1,697 per week

About the Role

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Hemphill, Texas. The role involves working 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts, starting on 10/12/2026. As a travel PTA, you’ll be part of a rehab team, providing essential therapy services in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in Texas or compact privilege.
• Willingness to travel and commit to a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Prior experience in a rehab setting is preferred but not required.
