About the role
Travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant position available in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities of daily living.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
- Experience in long term care settings preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a PTA program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients.
- Knowledge of long term care protocols and procedures.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8 hours, days shift.
