Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - Inpatient - $1,680 per week
About the role
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an inpatient role at a facility located in Pampa, Texas. This position involves providing therapy services to inpatients and outpatients in a 25-bed critical access hospital, including specialized units such as ICU, medical-surgical, orthopedics, and cardiac catheterization.
Responsibilities
The role requires working weekdays during daytime hours with a typical schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and involves supporting multiple units including ICU, Med/Surg, orthopedics, and cardiac cath lab within a critical access hospital environment. The chosen candidate will work in a Level IV trauma emergency room, caring for COVID patients as needed.
Requirements
- Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license to practice in Texas
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certificate from the American Heart Association upon hire and maintain current
- 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient or acute care setting

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week.
