Travel Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

The Physical Therapy Assistant serves as a member of the physical therapy team by assisting the Physical Therapist in the delivery of patient treatments and management of referred patients. The PTA provides documentation of treatment and outcomes, discharge planning and patient/family/caregiver education. Participates in administrative duties and PI; pursues professional growth; performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapist in delivering patient treatments
• Provides documentation of treatment and outcomes

• Edicates patients, family, and caregivers
• Participates in administrative duties and PI
• Pursues professional growth
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• AZ license
• BLS certification
• 2+ years of hospital experience

Qualifications

• Rotating weekends (2 - 3 shifts)

Skills

• Cerner EMR experience
