Travel Physical Therapist Assistant, Acute Care Rehab - $1,155 per week

RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Frederick, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assist in patient care activities including but not limited to patient assessments, treatment planning, and documentation.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and remain professional during times of stress and change.

Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience in the field of physical therapy assistant.
• Valid licensure and/or certifications for the state of work.
• Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adaptable.
• Pass drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program in physical therapy assistant.
• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA).

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using medical software and equipment.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 30 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Monday - Friday with one weekend day per month.
