About the role

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026, in Dublin, Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Perform tasks such as assisting with exercises, applying therapeutic modalities, and providing patient education.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active State License to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC (may be required).
  • Ability to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for improving patient outcomes through physical therapy.

Skills

  • Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures.
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift Hours: 0800-1630

Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
