Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Farmington Falls, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform tasks such as positioning patients, preparing treatment areas, and assisting with equipment setup
- Help patients with exercises and activities as directed by physical therapists
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Passion for patient care
Skills
- Proficient in using medical terminology
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities
- Ability to work well under pressure
