Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Canaan, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Perform routine tasks such as positioning, turning, and assisting patients with mobility
• Help maintain patient records and documentation
• Follow infection control protocols and assist with equipment setup and maintenance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for patient care and rehabilitation

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Basic computer skills
