About the role
Focus Staff is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel contract in Salem, OR. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a PT setting. Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: 07/27/2026 Shift: 5x8 Days
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements
- 1 Year of Experience
- Valid OR License
- BLSEligible to work in the United States
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
