About the role
Slate Healthcare is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 14-week assignment starting immediately in Laurel, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
- Document patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
Requirements
- Relevant PTA certification
- Background check completed
- EMR system proficiency
- 1 year of experience in a similar role
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification

- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
