About the role
Medlivo Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 14-week contract at a skilled nursing facility (SNF) in Bowie, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform physical therapy treatments under supervision
- Help patients with exercises and activities of daily living
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant License
- BLS via American Heart Association
- State license/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant required
Qualifications
- Experience in physical therapy assistance preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficient in using medical equipment
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques
- Attention to detail
Pay
Weekly Gross: $1,790.00
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8-hour shift
