Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,787 per week

About the role

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 14-week assignment in Salinas, California. The position is 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in patient care activities
• Perform routine patient care tasks under supervision
• Help patients with mobility exercises and other therapeutic activities
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately

Requirements

• Current PTA license in good standing
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
