Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,712 per week
About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift in an on-site SNF setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
Requirements
- Completion of accredited PTA program
- Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- New Mexico PTA licensure/certification
- First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
Pay
$1,685.73 - $1,737.87 per week
