Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,707 per week

About the role

This is a 13-week contract position for a travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Pampa, TX. The Physical Therapist Assistant will work in a 25-bed critical access hospital, providing care to both inpatients and outpatients within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions as directed by licensed physical therapists.
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with established protocols.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises and therapeutic techniques.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license to practice in Texas.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current status.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient or acute care setting.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Schedule: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Monday to Friday
