About the role

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Gulfport, Mississippi. The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Help patients with exercises and activities of daily living
• Document patient progress and treatment plans
• Follow safety protocols and assist with equipment maintenance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Pass a background check

• Pass a criminal history check

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
