Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,631 per week

About the role

Join a dedicated team in Danville, Virginia, as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in an outpatient setting. This role focuses on providing support in therapeutic exercise, pelvic floor therapy, lymphedema management, and orthopedics. A willingness to learn new techniques is essential, particularly manual correction methods.

Start date: 11/09/2026; duration: 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by licensed physical therapists.
• Document patient progress and report changes in patient status.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Requirements

• Active PTA license in the state of Virginia.
• Experience in therapeutic exercise preferred.
• Familiarity with pelvic health and lymphedema is a plus but not mandatory.
