Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,580 per week
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant in Hearne, Texas.
About the Role
You’ll work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in improving mobility, reducing pain, and maintaining activity levels under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active state license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education).
- Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

The city is about 35 miles from Bryan-College Station and roughly 50 miles from Waco, providing access to dining, shopping, and major road travel via Highway 6 and Highway 79. For weekend exploration, Fort Parker State Park is within about 45 miles and offers hiking trails, paddling, and access to the reconstructed Fort Parker landmark.
