About the role
Make a significant impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. This position offers an opportunity to work in Daytona Beach, FL, supporting patient care and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
Requirements
- Completion of accredited PTA program
- Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- FL PTA licensure/certification
- First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
Schedule
- 16-week assignment starting 08/24/2026
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour day shifts
- On-site at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Pay
$1,485.41 - $1,531.35 per week
