About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Westfield, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in patient care activities including but not limited to patient positioning, mobility, and equipment handling.
- Help patients with exercises and treatments as directed by physical therapists.
- Document patient progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Two years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and patient care procedures

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
