Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,334 per week

About the role

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Britton, South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans based on patient assessments and PT supervision.
• Provide hands-on patient care, including exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education.
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a SNF setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for improving patient outcomes through physical therapy.

Skills

• Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
