Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,330 per week

About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 10, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals through education and encouragement.
• Document patient progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Alabama.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).

Skills

• Proficient in using medical terminology and understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Knowledge of patient care protocols and safety standards.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 32 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
