Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Aid in carrying out therapeutic interventions including posture training, strengthening exercises, and functional skills training.
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics, or assistive devices.
• Demonstrate the use of various modalities such as whirlpools, hot/cold packs, and ultrasound.
• Maintain a clean treatment area while adhering to safety and infection control guidelines.
• Participate in team conferences and collaborate with other healthcare disciplines.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• CAPT Certification.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Active/applicable state licensure as required.
