Skilled Nursing Facility Physical Therapist Assistant – PTA position in Staten Island, New York. This is a travel contract with National Staffing Solutions-Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity
• Diminish or correct pathology and to promote and maintain health

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited school
• Physical Therapist Assistant license / Licensure in the state of practice
• Current BLS certification

Pay & Schedule

• Anticipated start date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
