About the role
The position is at a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) facility in Berlin, New Hampshire.
Responsibilities
- Works under the supervision of either Registered or Licensed Physical Therapists.
- Uses physical treatment procedures to help improve mobility and relieve pain and disability caused by disease or injury.
- Treatment techniques may include massages, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths, hot and cold packs, traction, and ultrasound.
- Implements and modifies the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
- Collaborates effectively within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
Requirements
- Earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or actively applying for licensure.
- CPR certification.
- Provides skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
- Effectively collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Pay
Based on 7.0 hour shifts and 35.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
