Travel Physical Therapist, Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation - $2,296 per week

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Rehabilitation Therapist for a 26-week assignment starting on August 17, 2026, in Hilo, Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical and occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Rehabilitation Therapist in the state of Hawaii.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) or National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Current CPR certification.

Pay

The pay package is based on an 8-hour shift and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
