Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Inpatient Rehab - $2,551 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. This is a 13-week position offering 40 hours per week on 8-hour day shifts, starting September 22, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including evaluation of medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients; document and record the patient's condition.
• Educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and passed the NPTE.
• Graduate of an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the process of obtaining current state licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.
