Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital - $2,742 per week

About the role

HCS 24/7 is looking for a Physical Therapist in Apple Valley, California.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop exercise programs to improve mobility and strength.
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• No new graduates are eligible for this position.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and modalities.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using medical software and equipment.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a 13-week assignment, 9A-5P shift starting August 25, 2026, working 40 hours per week.
