Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital - $2,387 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Physical Therapist for a travel assignment with one of its top healthcare clients in Chewelah, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and rehabilitation potential.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals based on the patient’s capacity and tolerance, under physician direction.
• Set realistic, achievable goals, document the patient’s condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and successful completion of the NPTE.
• Graduated from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or actively pursuing licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements may be determined by the client facility.
